I think the hardest time of being away from family is on our birthday. Although, you can celebrate it with friends, somehow, the feeling of not having your family around you, makes birthday a little bit different. Luckily, I never had to experience that. When I was in the US studying for my degree and working at the same time, I always had my siblings around. Therefore, I never experienced a lonesome birthday.
Today is my cousin’s birthday and poor him, he has to be away from his parents and siblings. So, Arman and I decided that we should give him a small birthday party surprise. We arranged a Shabu-Shabu (Hotpot) birthday celebration at our tiny apartment. Will came with no clue, ’cause I told him that I am having a housewarming party.
I am glad that he was surprised and looked happy. After the tummy full of shabu-shabu, Will got to make a wish and blew the candle. Of course, Andrew wanted to do the same thing, and I had to turn the candle light on again.
Once again, Happy Birthday, Will! Wish you an eternal happiness and successful career!
