Giant Tortilla Quiche

14 05 2008

When I celebrated my birthday at Disneyland this past weekend, I was told that I can get a free bag of flour tortillas from the famous Mission factory inside the California Adventure. From there not only that I got free bag of flour tortillas, I also got myself a Mission recipe book. In the book, it has one recipe that I wanted so much to try, but since I have limited ingredients in my fridge, I have to modify the original recipe.

INGREDIENTS:

6 Soft taco size flour tortillas

1/3 cup of soy milk

1/2 cup of diced Spam

4 thin slices of turkey breast

2 tablespoons of multi purpose flour

3/4 cup of shredded monterey jack & cheddar cheeses

INSTRUCTIONS:

Mix all ingredients except the tortilla. Press each soft flour tortilla into a muffin cup. Then pour the mixture into each tortilla shell and bake at 350 degree Fahrenheit for about 50 minutes. 6 Giant Tortilla Quiche are ready to serve.

@ Leony: Iya paling enak dimakan pas panas2.

@ Lily: Ngga usah tepung khusus kok, tepung terigu biasa aja.

@ Jq: Very easy to make, but for you right now it is better not to have the Spam in it, better substitute with other fresh meat. The original recipe has corn, green onion and ham in it. You might want to try that too.
