Tamarind Shrimp

This is another recipe from my mom and had always been one of my favorite. If you like it sour, then you can add more tamarind when you marinate the shrimp.
INGREDIENTS:
200 gr shrimp - peel of the skin
1 teaspoon of seedless tamarind paste
1/2 teaspoon of salt
vegetable oil
1 teaspoon of soy sauce
INSTRUCTIONS:
First in mix the seadless tamarind with the salt, then blend them with the shrimp and leave it for about 1 hour. Heat up a pan, put in the vegetable oil, then put in the shrimp, add soy sauce and stir fry until cook. Ready to serve.


tamarind paste? disini pake apa ya? apa gua pake asem jawa yang dibungkus kecil2 itu trus gua buang bijinya ther?
@ Pucca: Vi, tamarind paste = asem jawa kok. Bukan yang dibungkus satu2 yang ada gulanya yah. Biasanya yang dibungkus satu2 kan untuk makan cemilan kan. Kalo di Indo setau gua dibungkus satu gondol gede gitu sih. Trus emang masih ada bijinya biasanya di Indo, jadi elu buang aja bijinya.
