Stir Fry Beef with Cloud Ear Fungus (Jamur Kuping Tumis Daging)

Here is another favorite dish of my mom’s cook. You can always substitute the beef meat with either pork or chicken. The cloud ear fungus sold in fresh, dried or vacuum into a size of matches box. This is delicious.

INGREDIENTS:

300 gr sirloin beef - cut into thin slices

3 tablespoon of soy sauce

50 gr dried cloud ear fungus - soak in water before use

1 tablespoon of ginger - cut into matches size

1 teaspoon of minced garlic

3 tablespoons of sesame oil

1 cup of chicken broth/water

5 tablespoons of oyster sauce

4 tablespoons of cooking wine

pepper

INSTRUCTIONS:

Marinate the beef meat with soy sauce over night. Heat up a pan, pour in the sesame oil, stir fry the matches size ginger until golden, then put in the minced garlic, stir fry until slightly golden. Put in the sliced beef meat, then stir fry until cook. Add in the previously soaked cloud ear fungus, oyster sauce, cooking wine and pepper. Then pour in chicken broth/water and finally stir until all ingredients are well blended and boils. Ready to serve. You will get a big pan of Stir Fry Beef with Cloud Ear Fungus. :)

gua boleh makan cooking wine gak sih? is there any alcohol in there?

@ Jq: Gua totally lupa dulu makan apa ngga yah. Harusnya sih kalo cuma dipake dikit2 untuk masakan ngga apa2. Ada alcohol tapi harusnya meluap pada saat dimasak. Just to make sure double check with your doctor first.
