Silken Beef Tofu

8 04 2008

Andrew seems to really like tofu, so today, I decided to make one dish with tofu. See below for the recipe.

INGREDIENTS:

1 pack of silken tofu - cut into approximately 1 x 1 x 1 cm cubes

200 gr of sirloin beef - cut into thin slices

2 tablespoons of soy sauce

2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

2 teaspoons of ginger - cut into matches size

1 cup of chicken broth/water

2 tablespoons of oyster sauce

1/2 teaspoon of sugar

1/2 teaspoon of salt

pepper

Mix 1/4 cup of water with 2 teaspoons of tapioca starch

a few cilantro leaves for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS:

First marinate the thin slices beef meat with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce. Leave it for 4 hours or over night. Heat up a pan, our in the 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, then stir fry the matches size ginger until slightly golden. Put in the previously marinated beef and stir fry until cook. Then put in the cubes silken tofu, stir carefully until mix with the beef meat. Pour in 1 cup of chicken broth or water, oyster sauce, salt, sugar and pepper. Wait until boils, then pour in mix of water and tapioca starch, stir until thicken and boils. Pour into the serving plate, add some cilantro leaves for garnish, then ready to serve.

Hi Shin, how are you? Btw, kemarin abis liat bday cakenya olan, ih ampe ngiler deh bagus banget. Pengen bisa bikin kue buat andrew bday tahun ini, tapi kayanya gua ngga ada bakat bikin kue kaya elu deh, Shin. Hehehehe.

@ Shinta: Iya nih musti pelan2 belajar lagi, cuma kok rasanya kurang sabar yah kalo suruh bikin kue, mendingan disuruh masak 10 macam sayuran deh. Thanks for the compliment about my new template. Dari waktu itu udah ada yang complaint juga, katanya fotonya kegedean, jadi serem kalo buka2 blog ku di kantor, takut ketauan boss. Hehehehehe. Moga2 yang lain suka template yang baru ini juga yah.
