Ebi French Bean
27 03 2008This recipe originally came from my aunt. She cooked this dish when she invited us over for the New Year dinner. Arman loves it so much. Knowing that Arman is not a big fan of vegetable, of course I was so eager to know how to cook this dish. Unfortunately, I can’t remember exactly what the exact ingredients, so I just tried my own version, here is what I came up with.
INGREDIENTS:
Vegetable oil for deep frying
1.5 lb of french bean
60 gr of dried shrimp (ebi) - soak in warm water then chop it finely
5 tablespoons of sesame oil
2 tablespoons of oyster
pepper
INSTRUCTIONS:
Deep fry the french beans, then put it aside. Heat up a pan, put in the sesame oil, then put in the chopped ebi and stir fry for about 2 minutes, then mix in the previously deep fried french beans. Stir again until both the ebi and the french bean are mixed. Then add the oyster sauce and pepper. Stir fry again for another minute, then put it on the serving plate. Ready to serve.

looks yummy. i can’t wait to try it!
